Small size shredder suitable for shredding long and skein shavings containing pieces.
It is ideal to be positioned under the machine tool evacuator.
The TRA200 shredder is a machine designed to shred long and coiled metal swarf and to manage at the same time, through an automatic expulsion system, the presence of pieces inside the swarf, without compromising the integrity of the blades.
The shredder is equipped with a slow rotating shaft moved by a motor of adequate power on which a set of easily replaceable hooked blades is mounted, which, by crossing a counter-comb blade, create the cutting effect.
An interchangeable screen is installed below the shaft which, depending on the size of the openings, defines the size of the shredded swarf and therefore the hourly output of the shredder.
The reduction efficiency of the swarf volume and the hourly output of the TRA200 shredder can be evaluated with experimental tests on your swarf at the headquarters of the company FAMA s.r.l.

The data in kg/h is approximate and in any case depends on the density of the swarf, the shape, the oil content and the type of coolant. the density data considered are hypothetical, based on an experimental average of the data in our possession.
1. The knives are designed to be replaceable. Each knife is in fact fixed to the shaft by screws. In case of breakage or wear of the tooth, simply act on the screws and replace the single knife;
2. The screen can be defined in advance and possibly replaced at a later time. It regulates the chip size and consequently the hourly production;
3. The shredder can be mounted on telescopic slides to extract it from the work seat and access the shredding mouth safely.
